I was at the new Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital on 28 Apr 10.The buildings are so huge and there was not a hint of the old Alexandra Hospital at this place. Frankly, I prefer the nostalgic feel of the old grounds instead of this built-up concrete high-rise structure, which looked cold on most floors.
The landscaping works were still in progress and everything looked so raw, which reminded me of when I first planted up HortPark.
I took these photos so that I can compare them when the garden is more mature. The hospital overlooked the Yishun pond and thankfully, the trees etc around the pond were retained.
