In recent times, I developed a liking for the marginal plant Ludwigia, because of its ability to tolerate wet soils, unlike most other shrubs which will die under such conditions. Its beauty is not just in its dainty leaves, but its sweet 4-heart-shaped petaled yellow flowers.
Another pot was overrun with the carnivorous plant Utricularia and possibly an interesting Lobelia. They are so small, so their beauty can only be appreciated by those who look beyond the surface.
All are growing happily in the pots. On the other hand, are we all growing happily in our jobs?
