the developing strobili
This is a less common cycad than the
Cycas revoluta
. But being prehistoric plants from the Gymnosperm group, they are non-flowering plants that produce naked seeds.
The fruit is like a cone and is known as a strobilus (pl. strobili).
these are the naked seeds on the female strobili
