These are photos of the flowering Loropetalum chinense at Satay by the Bay. They just love well-drained soils.

Some of these interesting and beautiful plants include the Dianella ensifolia, Trevesia palmata (common name: Snowflake Plant, Snowflake Aralia; Family: Araliaceae), Calathea warscewiczii, Loropetalum chinensis, and the variegated Sanchezia nobilis (synonym: Sanchezia speciosa; Family: Acanthaceae).
