DINNER

I saw these mouth-watering dim sum at Nex and couldn't resist the temptation of ordering them. For the price, they didn't taste as good as I expected them to be. I had an extra bowl of dried prawn noodles for dinner too.

PRAWN AND PORK RIBS NOODLE

I was at the Singapore Expo the other day and tried out the noodles from the famous big prawn noodle stall. According to the display, it was a branch from the one at Newton Food Centre.

As expected, the noodles were quite nice but I love the bak kut teh pork ribs better. The meat on the bone just slid off with such ease and it tasted delicious. I love such soup too but I know I shouldn't take in so much Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) and especially since prawns are known to contain toxic substances.

ION ORCHARD FOOD OPERA

Since the opening of Ion Orchard, it was the first time I ate my meal there. I was so hungry that evening that I ate the $7 prawn noodle and $5 beef noodle. So much for one dinner.

PRAWN AND BEEF

This evening, I had prawn and beef noodles at the Ion Food Hall @ B4 for the first time since the shopping centre opened. Including the iced coffee that I bought, the whole meal cost at least $13.80 ($7 + $5 + $1.80). But it was a rather fulfilling though expensive meal.
