the uncommon Phlogacanthus

The Secret Life of Trees has always been one of my favourite gardens of the World of Plants. Here are just some of the interesting plants such as the Phlogacanthus turgidus, Spathoglottis cultivars and two varieties of Mussaenda erythrophylla.

SPATHOGLOTTIS

I love the whole assortment of Spathoglottis cultivars (Family: Orchidaceae) although I personally have problems growing them at home. I know they don't like their pseudobulbs to be buried in soil and can be quite sensitive to cultural problems. But when they do well, they put out the most fantastic sprays of flowers.

I have a problem with my camera when it comes to focusing on objects and items that are small e.g. grass seed heads. It always ends up out of focus.
