I must admit that these are not my photos and I took it from the web. I have been eating a slice of papaya (scientific name: Carica papaya; Family: Caricaceae) almost everyday for some time now.But for the last few days, the stall that I buy the papaya from does not have any for sale. I couldn't hold it anymore and asked this evening why there was a shortage of papayas recently. The answer I got was, the Malaysian supplier was unable to send any suppliers over because they were mostly unripe. Wow, I must say this was a first time for me.
I wonder what happened? Has it got something to do with the strange weather recently? Anyway, we shall see and a link on this common tropical fruit is attached below:
