HANNA

This movie stars two of my favourite actresses Saoirse Ronan and Cate Blanchett. Eric Bana basically played a supporting role as the foster father in this movie on the young genetically modified girl trained as a killing machine to avenge the death of her mother.


Saoirse has come a long way since the 'City of Ember' and I like it that she is expanding her range into this movie. But compared to her previous 'The Lovely Bones', I am not as bowled over by this movie. But undeniably, she is becoming more and more beautiful, shown in the lowest photo, with her coming of age.


Cate also played a supporting role but I don't think the acting was worth any nomination.


Overall, I don't think this movie is brilliant enough to garner any awards. What a waste.
