ANIGOZANTHOS 'GOLD & AMBER VELVET'

These are the additional photos of the Kangaroo Paw that was bought from Australia. It would really be wonderful if these can be adapted to our local climate and planted in our landscape.

AUSTRALIA - BRISBANE

This is their famous Kangaroo Point where people do rock climbing at night on the steep cliff faces. I saw this young teenage girl who screamed but managed to abseil down the cliff in a matter of minutes with the guidance of a coach from below. Interesting? A link on this is provided below:

After this, I was on my way to the airport to take the flight back to Singapore.

AUSTRALIA - BRISBANE

This was from one of the souvenir stalls from Queen Street Mall. I bought a few boomerangs, chocolates etc.

But what amazed me was what was on the 2nd photo. I do not understand why anyone would buy these stuff. Well, definitely not me. They may be unique and native to Australia, but I didn't buy them because I seriously don't think any of my friends etc would want to use a kangaroo paw to scratch their backs or use the kangaroo scrotum as the key chain holder.

It totally grossed me out.
