SENTOSA - PART 7

I posted about this Pink-Necked Green Pigeon before and this one is really fat and rounded! It appeared to be catching a nap and it is time for it to lose some weight.

The Eucalyptus in the last two photos reminded me of the one I planted at the Silver Garden but this one has a bluish tinge to it, and together with its leaves contrast very well with the surrounding greenery.

SENTOSA - PART 6

I was told this is a native plant and from the looks of it, it could be a Barleria from the Acanthaceae Family.

SENTOSA - PART 5

This is another part of the garden and the plants that I saw include:

1st - 2nd : Impatiens walleriana
5th - 7th :Euphorbia tithymaloides (synonym: Pedilanthes tithymaloides)
8th - 9th : nestlings
11th - 13th : Amaranthus tricolor
14th - 15th : ants
22nd - 25th:
26th - 28th: Cestrum nocturnum

SENTOSA - PART 4

This is a magnificent view of this part of Sentosa. The Ardisia elliptica and Bougainvillea 'Mrs Eva' add some colour to the otherwise green canopy layer.
