Wow, I have never been to this part of Pasir Panjang until I went nearby for lunch recently and noticed these few impressively beautiful Ficus celebensis from the Moraceae Family. They look so good that the first thing that came to mind was that this tree can easily replace the Pterocarpus indicus 'Pendula' with the same tree form and soft look. Moreover, it looked so healthy, unlike the leaf miner plaqued Pterocarpus.
It's beautiful eh, borrowing a sentence uttered by a colleague when he saw the wild pitcher plants in Sarawak.
