I love ginger flowers and strangely, this Alpinia zerumbet (common name: Pink Porcelain Lily, Shell Flower; Family: Zingiberaceae) is rarely planted although it is not a rare plant. So I was pleasantly surprised to find it planted some time back at Floral Walk.
I am definitely not complaining because I relished in seeing and appreciating the beautiful flowers and striped leaves. A link on the ginger is shown here:
