BISHAN PARK - ABC PROJECT

This is part of the view of the ongoing ABC project at Bishan Park to convert the concrete monsoon drain into a natural meandering river.

There were a few Little Egrets having a whale of a time wading in and out of the waters and a pair of mongrel dogs to join in the stroll.

On the banks were also planted with the Spathoglottis plicata (common name: Large Purple Orchid; Family: Orchidaceae).

ABC

Next up is a few posts on ABC. I decided to break it up into a few posts so that it is easier to read.

It was in a convention hall, much like our Suntec Convention Centre.

Compared to our Singapore Garden Centre, it seemed there were less people on a normal weekday. But I suppose this too had something to do with the workhours etc.

The display was very neat and the area looked spacious enough for easy movement. And it was precisely at this convention that I bought the 4 small pots of Heliotropium arborescens cultivars.

And yes, I couldn't resist the temptation to buy the relatively cheap door gift set and took a photo of the salesman in his apron with the slogan "Bean There, Dug That", with his permission of course.
