FRUITING BODIES

It looks like pieces of bread sandwiched between the fissures of the tree trunk but they are actually the fruiting bodies of a fungus. Interesting?

MUSHROOMS

I saw these huge mushrooms on the way out for lunch the other day. They reminded me of the soft leather mushroom corals that I used to have in my marine aquarium.

But then again, they also reminded me remotely of the brain or even a loaf of bread. How I wish the mushroom was edible because it certainly made me feel hungry.
