This year, right after Christmas is over, all major shopping centres changed their decor to traditional chinese themed ones for the Lunar New Year.

COLOUR & LANTERNS

I have always love colours and would not give up a chance to take photos of colourful stuff, like this shop at the CityLink Mall and the pyramidal roof tiles of the Millenia.

The latter has been around for a while now and I wonder how many people are as amazed as me by the colourful roofs. In fact, every time I gaze up at this part of the building, it reminds me of those thousand buddhas found in temples. I can almost imagine them being placed at different tiers. Only this time round, I am also drawn by the pink lanterns, which reminded me of the sky lanterns (孔明灯).

MILLENIA WALK

Today's weather - sunny

This may not be a new building development but till today I am still inspired and fascinated by the architecture and brilliant use of colours for this amazing building.

PYRAMIDS

These coloured pyramid roofs at Millenia Walk are not new and have been around for many years now, but the design is so interesting and fantastic that till this day, it never fails to amaze me when I look up at it.

SHADOW

Just looking at the shadow, would one know what the thing is?

In this case, I wouldn't know it is actually the shadow of a plant if I did not see this with my own eyes.

This Ficus religiosa (common name: Sacred Fig, Bodhi Tree, Bo-Tree; Family: Moraceae) weed was growing between the roof tiles of the Millenia Walk structure.

MILLENIA WALK

This may not be a new mall but the colourful ceiling tiles have always been the highlight of this linear 2-storey shopping mall.

Recently, they just added another part BHG with 3 storeys at the end nearest Marina Square.
