BOUGAINVILLEA AND XANTHOSTEMON

 Today's weather - sunny
I saw the flowering Bougainvillea 'Chilli Red' from afar and it reminded me of how I love and selected it for planting at the Tanjong Pagar Ricoh Park initially Unfortunately, it does not have a reliable flowering and is not always so brilliant looking. Anyway, it was the season for the blooming of the Golden Penda trees too as evident by its flowering across the island.

XANTHOSTEMON VERTICILLATUS

I realise I didn't post about this tree from Australia before. This is an uncommon Xanthostemon and it is not commonly planted because of its less showy white flowers.

From the Myrtaceae Family, its common name is Little Penda, Bloomfield Penda. 2 links are attached below:
