They have masses of the Caesalpinia pulcherrima, which is a nectar plant for the adult butterflies. They also have the two host plants of the Plain Tiger - Calotropis gigantea (common name: Crown Flower) and Asclepias curassavica (common name: Blood Flower), so I am sure the Plain Tiger is here to stay as evident by the few caterpillars that I saw on the leaves of the former.
