NEIGHBOURHOOD GARDEN

I have not been to this area of the neighbourhood until recently and my oh my. The uncle has expanded his garden and he has planted many more varieties of Hibiscus and other plants.

I chatted with him and he told me that the Town Council was happy with his work and bought more plants for him to plant up.

JUNIPERUS CHINENSIS

I have always love this grove of Juniperus chinensis (Common Name: Chinese Juniper) because of the its bluish tinge. Somehow the top photo did not show the colour very well, possibly because of the angle and lighting, but the lower ones really show to great effect what I love about this beautiful tree.

JUNIPERUS CHINENSIS

This is the Juniperus chinensis (common name: Chinese Juniper; Family: Cupressaceae) which is an essential gymnosperm tree in a Chinese Garden. It is also a popular plant as a miniature bonsai.
