This is a new community garden. In the recent papers, it was reported that community gardens grew from 100 five years ago to a staggering 400 today. It helps to engage the public in gardening and at the same time, fosters a social bond and kindred spirit, amongst the residents, that was more apparent back in those days when people were living in the kampungs.
