BAY EAST
For the couple of years that I was here, I have never seen a drought so bad that even the pond is dried up till this extent. What a depressing site!

LOTUS
I am just happy that I took photos of this pot of Lotus this morning because by evening time, the petals were all gone and was told that some kid pulled them all out.
The Zephyranthes in front of the pot were trampled flat because of curious visitors who stood right in front of the pot to take the photos. How sad!

- flowers of the Firmiana malayana,
- Terminalia tree with red leaves,
- red Lotus flower,

- a row of flowering Pachira aquatica,
- a bed of flowering Viola banksii (Common Name: Tasmanian Violet, Ivy-Leafed Violet), and
- plants at the Hub.

DOUBLE-PETALED WHITE LOTUS
It is not very difficult to get double-petaled Lotus these days and here is a blooming white double-petaled Lotus.
