NELSONIA CANESCENS

This is a beautiful mat of Nelsonia canescens (Family: Acanthaceae) that is growing well under both sun and shade conditions.

NELSONIA CANESCENS

This appears to be an Acanthaceae Family groundcover that grows well in the sun and shade. In fact, it is growing into the water!

However, I do not know the identity of this plant. It looked kind of relatively pest and disease free too. So it is definitely a good plant to recommend for the shade areas if you don't want to grow the usual Piper, Philodendron etc.

NB on 24 Dec 12: I discovered the identity of this plant for some time now. It's known as Nelsonia canescens.
