SUPERTREE GROVE

Every night at 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm, the Supertrees in the Supertree Grove lights up to the tune of music as part of the OCBC Rhapsody. It is an amazing sight to see the dancing lights that take on different colours to entertain the audience. Night lighting in gardens never look so cool until this came along.

NIGHTSCAPE AT GARDENS BY THE BAY

These night photos were taken using my iphone 5 without any photographic effects applied on them. Frankly, I do kind of like some of the photos taken using my phone compared to my Nikon camera.

BAY EAST

I love the Bidens alba planted along the Skyline Promenade. In fact, it looks better than in the photos. As for the Barleria cristata, it finally flowered after they stopped pruning the shrub and the purple and blue flowers are so lovely.


The sky gradually turned dark and I switched my Nikon camera to the night mode to take the night photos. Under this mode, the whole city skyline and garden looked brighter than it actually was.
