LORONG HALUS WETLAND & PUNGGOL PROMENADE

I found some time to visit the Lorong Halus Wetland and a section of the Punggol Promenade before its recent official opening.

The former is a project by PUB and the latter by URA. Both are projects that demonstrated the coordinated efforts to green up our waterways and together with NParks yet to be opened Punggol Waterway provide a splendid route along the waterfront that connects to the Serangoon Park Connector and Punggol Park.

I must say the maroon bridge is rather unique and is an interesting landmark across the river.

In addition, I would never miss out on some of the weeds e.g. Mimosa, Clitoria, Crotalaria, that I see at these places which give it a more unique character.
