WATER FEATURE

I posted about this water feature a few times already, but I always couldn't help going back to posting more photos of the plants as the landscape becomes more established.

The Hanguana malayana is sending out its offshoots further into the water. The Hydrocotyle vulgaris on the rock face is reaching down into the water, creating a beautiful reflection in the water. The Cyrtosperma johnstonii is enjoying its new environment and the Acrostichum aureum growing on the terrestrial soil is happy as evident by the brilliantly orangey-red new fronds.

HANGUANA MALAYANA (JACK) MERR.

Sometimes plants show slight variations here and there and it makes me wonder if they are of the same species or not.

From the Hanguanaceae Family, I was told there are 2 forms of the Common Susum - 1 terrestrial and 1 aquatic. The ones that I planted thus far only had green runners, unlike these ones at the Singapore Botanic Garden's Nassim Gate water feature.
