TARENNA FRAGRANS

The native fragrant shrub Tarenna fragrans flowered so freely several times a year and I feel they are really under-appreciated.

FAGRAEA CEILANICA

These Perfume Trees at Satay by the Bay flowered recently.

QUISQUALIS 'JESSIES'S STAR'

This is supposed to be a white-flower Quisqualis known by the cultivar 'Jessie's Star'.

BAUHINIA GALPINII

This Bauhinia climber remains one of my favourite of recent times.

GONGORA ORCHID

This is an orchid with species or cultivars with flowers that look like a flying bird/duck. I took these photos at the Cloud Forest. In fact, it looks like a flock of flying ducks.

PISONIA

These are the flowers of the Pisonia after it was transplanted recently. How inconspicuous!

PTELEOCARPA LAMPONGA

Known by the common name Tembusu tikus (Family: Boraginaceae), this interesting tree with yellow Tembusu-like flowers can be seen along Rochor Road just outside the Bugis MRT station.
