I also came across this Solanum vine that was growing on the nursery netting.
When I enquiried whether the nursery carried this plant for sale, the grower explained that this is actually a weed so no one grows them there. The leaves are palmate, the pendulous lilac flowers are pretty and green-orange-red berries are lovely.
Too bad there were no ripe fruits for me to collect back.
Interestingly, just a week ago, I purchased a pot of white-flowered Solanum vine from the Spa Nursery at Thomson Road, together with a pot of variegated Aptenia.
