DRAGONFLY LAKE, LION GROVE & CHINESE GARDEN

Today's weather - sunny
This is the Dragonfly Lake where a red and a cyan giant dragonfly seemed to fly straight out of the waters.

At the Lion Grove, a series of wall mounted white lions were spouting water from their opened mouths, which contrasted starkly with the colourful bromeliads. There are also a number of tall orange-grey stones that were strategically placed for best effect.

In a Chinese Garden, it is not uncommon to find sculptures. Here, we have a cut-out sculpture known as "离乡" (li xiang), which refers to the mainland labourers who left their hometown. It is also here where we can see some wonderful varieties of Plumeria (common name: Frangipani).
