GLORIOSA SUPERBA

When I first grew this monocotyledonous Glory Lily from tubers bought from the last SGF, it flowered once for me with just a handful of flowers.

Recently, it started producing floral buds and bloomed continuously even until this day. There are now 2 separate stems with each node supporting one flower. I am still counting them daily and one of the stem has 16 flowers and 5 fruits now.

Some fruits are also forming, so I will have some seeds by the end of the year. It is interesting how the pistil swings to one side of the flower instead of staying upright.
