PINK FLOWER CLIMBER
The recent drought was just the right trigger to bring on the onslaught of flowering in lots of species, including this unknown leguminous climber.

WEED
I recently realized I had a lot of photos in my camera's hard disk because on the few occasions when I forgot to put in the memory card, the camera continued to take the photos and I totally forgot about them until recently, that is. Only when the camera indicated that the memory was full that I knew of all these "hidden" photos.
So here I am posting these photos, starting with this one on an interesting legume weed I saw almost a year ago.
And the island in the last photo no longer looked like that a year later. The turf is completely covered up with shrubs now. Too bad I don't have the photos to compare the difference.

SCHIZOLOBIUM PARAHYBA
These Tower Trees from the Family Fabaceae / Leguminosae were flowering recently and there were quite a number of seed pods hanging from the the numerous branches high up the tree. How interesting!

UNKNOWN LEGUME
Er, I love this leguminous weed although I have no idea on its identity. So I am just admiring its beauty before it is removed.

MIMOSA PUDICA
But I am an admirer of this amazing plant that responds to tactile touches on its leaves. How many plants can actually do that? Hardly any, I say. All I can say is it is not a plant with a large appreciative audience, but I am glad to be one. To me, even the compound leaves look beautiful.
A link on this wonderful plant is shown below:
