SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS

Planter beds always present a challenge when it comes to plant selection. Initially, plants that can tolerate small soil volumes and less water would often be selected, but these same plants also suffer when the drainage holes get choked over time.


This planter was recently relandscaped after all these years and these new additions e.g. Hydrangea macrophylla, Dillenia excelsa, Ardisia crenata, are interesting.
