COMMON MIME AND KING CROW

The Common Mime was puddling to sip nutrients from the soil
I think this was the first time I spotted a Common Mime butterfly in the garden. Unfortunately I wasn't carrying my camera, and by the time I came back with one, this butterfly was no longer there for me.

Nearby, I saw this large King Crow butterfly hovering around this Syzygium tree and it kept coming back to the flowers of this tree for nectar. Despite my slow walk towards the tree, the butterfly flew off several times but always settle back to the tree again after circling it several times.

The King Crow was elusive but always return to the same tree
