PTEROCARPUS INDICUS

I hate to see the Angsana trees pruned drastically to reduce the crown of these trees. The best look of an Angsana is when all its branches arch and droop down pendulously on a mature tree that hasn't been pruned for a long time.

Such a tree also has the tendency to flower at its best under those conditions. Sadly, it becomes an uncommon occurrence these days to witness the flowering and its beautiful yellow flowers.
