HORRIBLE BOSSES

I think everyone must have their fair share of horrible bosses, so surely some of us can identify with the bullied characters in this movie. With a stellar cast including Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jamie Foxx, this is a comedic film that tells the tale of how three employees and buddies plotted together to hire a hitman to bump off their respective bosses.

As usual, Kevin Spacey is good. Colin Farrell's high forehead and balding boss was at most irritating. But I was most tickled by the superior-subordinate relationship between the man-eating Jennifer Aniston and the helpless sexually harassed Charlie Day. I loved it that Jennifer played outside her usual roles and ditched her blond locks for a more dominant brown.

Did I enjoy the movie? Not exactly. It was barely entertaining when the characters sometimes came across as stupid. The storyline was unrealistic as we don't go around hiring some killer to terminate our horrible bosses. If we do, there would be lots of killings.
