SOUTHERN RIDGES 3

Along the southern ridges trail, we walk up to the famous Telok Blangah Hill Park where many a couple took their wedding photos amongst a terrace of flowering Bouganvilleas.

The landscape have changed drastically. Gone are the Bougainvilleas and in its place were planted an array of other plants e.g. Osmoxylon lineare, Bauhinia kockiana, Tecoma capensis.

High up on a dead branch is a male changeable lizard. Somewhere on the fringe of the forested area was a clump of Bougainvillea climbing onto the dense vegetation. This is one of the highest hills in Singapore and it is amazing to have a bird's eye view of the region.
