POUTERIA OBOVATA

This Sea Gutta tree from the Sapotaceae Family was commonly planted in our streetscape for at least 6 years now. In particular, I remember the big ones along North Bridge Road.

What is interesting about this tree is its bronze-coloured medium-sized leaves that are most evident when you stand below the tree. When the breeze comes and the leaves rustle slightly with the wind, the sight is beautiful.
