KOPSIA FRUTICOSA

Known by its common name Shrub Vinca, Pink Kopsia, Pink Gardenia, this is one beautiful and showy small tree that is very free-flowering and ideal for a small garden. Like the Vinca rosea, it is also from the Apocynaceae Family.

The pinkish petals with a red eye appeared to be truncated in these photos and I supposed that was because they were taken after the rain.

Although it is also known as the Pink Gardenia, the flowers do not really have a strong fragrance. It is also difficult to propagate it from cuttings and propagating it by marcotting is more successful.
