This less common yellow-bract banana plant at the Heliconia Walk flowered recently, as evident from the photo taken on 12 Jan 10.
The more common variegated Costus speciosus cultivar also flowered in the same vicinity. I understand from a colleague that its botanical name was changed although I could not remember what it is called now.
