I was pleasantly greeted along the route to my office on 13 Jan 10 by a group of Munias feeding on the grass seedheads along the fencing of the industrial buildings.
A favourite bird since my uni days doing a project on them, these Scaly-Breasted Munias are a frequent occurrence along this road.
How I wish I can plant the right grasses in HortPark to attract them there. Thus far, I have yet to catch sight of the other Munias - White-Headed Munia, Chestnut Munia and Javan Munia, at this area.
