SUMATRA SQUALLS

Just when I was about to end the posting, I heard that the Sumatra Squalls are approaching again.

The Sumatra Squall is a term commonly used in Singapore to refer to the thunderstorms, rain showers, associated with high speed wind conditions, carried over to Singapore from the skies above the Sumatra area.

The 9 Jul 2006 image was taken from the web and shows the squall approaching Singapore.
