POLYGALA X DALMAISIANA

This Sweet Pea Shrub (synonym: Polygala myrtifolia var. dalmaisiana; Family: Polygalaceae) is a cross between P. oppositifolia and P. myrtifolia and I bought this batch from Australia. Recently, it also flowered because of the cool weather.

The pair of winged petals of the pink flowers enclose a central crest of extended white frills, and that is the appeal of this bean flower. I read somewhere that this 3-5 feet shrub is drought tolerant and can be easily propagated by cuttings.
