natural beauties in our everyday lives
18 September 2010
I was told this is a Palaquium tree from the Sapotaceae Family although we have absolutely no idea what species it is.
The only Palaquium I know is planted at the Water Garden, Flora Stitches and Native Garden and it has a dark bronzy leaf underside. There is also the
that I am not familiar with.
But to me, this one won them all because of its maroon leaf undersides and reddish new leaf flushes.
