I love cultivars of the Spathglottis plicata from the Orchidaceae Family because they come in several colours e.g. purple, yellow, pink, white, and the flowers contrast very well against the typical monocotyledonous leaves.This terrestrial orchid prefers their roots not to be covered with soil and does not like to be too well-watered, so do take note of this when growing them.
