This flower is alone, so alone!
I noticed this solitary flower appearing on the trunk of this Bauhina x blakeana (Butterfly Tree) for a while and managed to take its photo on 4 Mar 10.
Whilst the rest of the flowers were blooming high up the crown, this flower chose to appear midway up the trunk of this tree across the Golden Garden. What audacity? Or courage?
