I heard we used to have some Wrightia dubia in our nursery. Now it appears only Fort Canning Park has this pinkish salmon-coloured flower Wrightia.

However, attempts to propagate it via cuttings were not successful. So guess my excitement when I saw it at Bangkok.

Frankly, the flowering was not magnificent in that there were only few flowers and there was no fragrance emitting from them. I suppose I wouldn't be so excited with it if not for its rarity.

Anyway, hopefully we can see it at HortPark some day.
