GLEE

After watching 5 episodes of it, I am totally sold and am officially a gleek. I love the musical comedy for its wide array of lovely songs, dancing and its interesting cast.

I was mesmerized by the song 'Alone' sung by April (played by Kristin Chenoweth), who was an over the hill singer, and Matthew Morrison. I found the role of April to be very interesting and entertaining. She belted out quite a few beautiful songs with her big voice. Of course, there was the controversial, man- and singing-hating Sue (played by Jane Lynch), whose role seemed no different from the movie 'The 40 Year-Old Virgin'. There was also Rachel (played by Lea Michele), the high school glee club lead female singer who tried to score it with the male lead, and who drew me in with her voice. There were certainly many, many other sweet and touching moments.

Meanwhile, I will enjoy the song while I can. It chilled me to the bone.

Celine was too theatrical and over the top. At the end of it, I still prefer the version by Kristin and Matthew anytime. Her singing is so sensual and strikes a chord with me.
