SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS

I had not been to this area for a while and since I was here, I thought I would just take some photos and post them up here.

The flowering Jacaranda obtusifolia and Dietes bicolor looked pretty, didn't they?

Although the Vanda 'Miss Joaquim' was not flowering, the entire bed is a classic design.

Who would forget about the grand bandstand, that graced book covers and stamps?

The Cissus cisyoides (common name Princess Vine, Curtain Vine) from the Vitaceae Family was one of the newer additions to the area. I guessed the designer wanted visitors to experience walking under and through the trellis and I did just that. It was kind of fun and interesting.
