TRAILING

I only realized how fast the trailing climbers have grown when I took the photos and made a comparison. This photo was taken on 11 Jul 10 and the Pseudogynoxys chenopodioides (common name: Mexican Flame Vine) was touching the metal bar on the parapet wall of the lower floor.

So how did the neighbours react to the trailing stems? I was thinking to see how far down it would grow. I wanted it to trail down the floors like Rapunzel's hair. But I don't think it is possible anymore. I was on the lower floor this morning and realized that the neighbour snipped the lower stems off. How disappointing!
