This very interesting vine from the Apocynaceae Family are known by its common names Nepal Trumpet Flower, Easter Lily Vine etc.I saw the mature specimen in Thailand and it almost completely overwhelm the host tree it was growing on. The abundant white flowers were everywhere. So I bought this vine as a small plant and grew it beside this Pterocarpus macrocarpus. However, for a very long time, it remained below 2 m. Recently, it started to show a growth spurt and suddenly the apical shoot was about 5 m high up in the tree.
A careful look at the 2nd photo would show the vine climbing and twining up the tree like a snake. Now, it is time to wait for the flowering.
