EPIPHYTIC ORCHIDS

In the vicinity of the Euphorbia tithymaloides, this epiphytic Grammatophyllum speciosum (common name: Tiger Orchid) was planted on this rain tree many years ago and the plant is rather huge now and the mass of roots is really incredible. But thus far, it has not flowered yet.

Then there were these few blooming dwarf pinkish-white Dendrobium orchids on the branches of these few rain trees too. The 3rd photo shows one such blooming orchid although my camera couldn't zoom in any nearer to the flowers. They were planted by mistake because the orchid that was supposed to be planted was the Bulbophyllum vaginatum but since they flowered rather frequently, I decided back then to leave them there even though they were also not planted properly.
