I have yet to find out the identity of this common garden weed but its small yellow flowers do attract me, just like it attracted some butterflies from the Lycaenidae Family to visit its flowers a few weeks back.

That is why I always believe every plant and animal has a purpose in life, especially in ecology, in the bigger scheme of things. It is there for a reason, no matter how insignificant it may seemed. But until we know its purpose, we often and simply brush the inconspicuous plant off as weeds.
